 VOLUME LABEL This is the name assigned to the Flash Drive when the disk is first formatted or created. Our factory can customise this name on your request up to a maximum of eleven characters. The customised device appears with this name when plugged into a computer. |
 AUTO-RUN FUNCTION Custom USB Flash Drives can be fitted with a function known as Auto-Run. This feature allows your preloaded data to launch automatically when the user plugs the custom USB Flash Drive onto their computer. Auto-Run works by the addition of an extra file to the root of the customer USB Flash Drive called Auto-Run. We can either do this for you or we can show you how. The standard PC Auto-Run will not work on MACS. When some users plug in their custom USB Flash Drive, security software may ask them whether they want to allow the drive to Auto-Run. They just need to click yes and the Auto-Run will launch as normal. |
 PANTONE MATCHED SHELL Should you require a promotional product in a precise colour not covered by our standard colour range, we can produce the product exactly to any Pantone colour you specify, in addition to printing your logo on the product. The minimum order quantity for Pantone matched product shells is 500 units. An additional charge may apply so please consult our sales team. Only Pantone colour reference will be accepted to reference colours (CYMK references cannot be used). |
 FILE LOCK/DUAL ZONE If you want to protect your data from deletion by the final user then we would recommend a Dual Zone Flash Drive. This special Flash Drive unites the flexibility of a standard USB Flash Drive with the read-only nature of a CD-ROM. When you insert the Flash Drive into your USB port, 2 drive icons will appear, one is for the read-only CD-ROM zone and the other for a standard removable drive (user area). You can hard-code data into the CD-ROM zone while still giving users the ability to use the Flash Drive zone as a regular Flash Drive. |
